PHROOM and Office Project Room are pleased to announce the presentation of Live in the house and it will not fall down, book by Alessandro Laita and Chiaralice Rizzi, published by MACK. Here, the two artists confront themselves directly with the collection of images found in the studio of the Venetian artist Bruno Rizzi some years after his death. Memory here takes on the value of a new, active gaze that discovers the present and sets it in motion.
“This book is about what makes images incomparable in their singularity. It is about the dazzling unfolding of a meeting that still awaits its future. A delicate archeology of the image, Live in the house and it will not fall down is an intimate and secret archeology of subjectivity.“ (Nicola Turrini)
This book is the winning project of the inaugural Lewis Baltz Research Fund, that has been established to honor the vision and memory of the American artist Lewis Baltz, who participated in the editing of this book.
